Where Does an Individual’s Willingness to Act on Alleviating the Climate Crisis in Korea Arise from?

Climate change is the result of anthropogenic activities and will lead to widespread rapid changes on Earth in following decades. The climate crisis has led economic, social, cultural crises worldwide. This study analyzes factors impacting voluntary actions individuals mitigate crisis. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire survey from 650 Korean adults. Statistical analysis was performed statistical program IBM SPSS Statistics 25. results show that affecting an individual’s willingness act mitigation gender, social class, perceived severity, benefits, obstacles, environmental attitude, exclusion. In particular, exclusion had moderating effect severity mitigation.
